place in division 7 of the winter league with a 5-3 win over Ryecroft
C. Playing against strong opposition, New Mills were 3 sets to 1 up
after the Mens and Ladies Doubles. Andy Storer and Jane Dickson ensured
the win with a hard fought 7-6, 6-1 in the mixed doubles.

Another
good result - a draw at Croftside 4 sets all and 40 games all.
Great afternoon of tennis. The lads just missed out in the men's
doubles 6-7, 5-7;but Liz and Jane won the ladies doubles 7-6;
6-3. In the mixed Jane and Andy won 6-3; 7-5. A very even match.
